The book starts with a bang and then it turns relatively slow for a while. I like this. After the very graphic beginning I would not have wanted a very fast pace development of the story. I like the development of the characters, they really start to grow on me although I get a bit frustrated with Grace Asher at times. Excellent cliffhanger for the next instalment. All in all, a very good book and Jess Nestling is a true voice artist, superbly read!
