Die Sprecherin ist kaum auszuhalten! Alles ist dahin gesäuselt, einfach nur schrecklich. Die Geschichte ist ok.

It’s an interesting story! A bit different from the usual poor girl meets rich man and is to honourable to accept his offers to protect his money or whatever it is. But the narrator…Jesus Christ…I’m sure it’s a lot of work to record a book and also I’m sure she meant well, but this performance-and I never give bad reviews-was so awkward and wrong in quite every possible aspect that it nearly made me miss the story!

Die ersten drei Bücher hatten eine wirklich sehr gute Sprecherin. Leider wurde die gewechselt. Ich brauchte mehrere Anläufe, um mir das Buch anzuhören, weil mein einfach nicht lange zuhören kann. Wenn ich das Buch gekauft hätte, hätte ich mich sehr geärgert. Die Sprechweise passt gar nicht zum Buch. Da die Kritik auch von allen anderen Hörern kam kann ich nicht verstehen, warum diese Sprecherin auch die neuen Bücher der Autorin vorliest. Sehr schade für das Buch/ die folgenden Bücher.
