I bought the third part after a greater break and could t understand why I liked the books before. It was boring. Than I checked and found the problem. The new narrator reads monoton and with little passion. So enjoy this book but think about reading the third for your self.

The whole book is weakly constructed around the intention of the main character destroying the whole world - like an ego-trip against a hostile environment he himself was the cause for (yes he was betrayed, but then as a petty reaction he cursed everything and everyone on the world to a damned existence for the betrayal of a single person > what a great act of scorched earth tactics), and when he comes back he is offended by the people being hostile towards him?!? And he also acts as if he had the moral high ground while killing whole cities of innocent people - and even the “evil” people are just the way they are because of the curse he unleashed on the earth a 1000 years before?
Seriously, this does not make sense and in addition to the badly staged story arc, this was a total waste of time.

Während ich in Fantasy und Science Fiction und Historischen Abenteuerromane regelrecht aufgehe, war es ein Fehler mir ein Hörbuch eines LitRpg (denke so heisst das Genre?) zu kaufen. Ursprünglich dachte ich es wäre sehr interessant, aber während die Geschichte in einem "normalen" Buch definitiv zu der Art geschichte gehört, die mir gefällt, so finde ich dass das Level system usw. leider nichts in Büchern und Hörbüchern für mich zu suchen haben.

Ansonsten, wer damit kein Problem hat soll es gerne hören, es ist nur nichts für mich.

i tried to go through it all but it is so bad that i just gave up on torturing myself. the main character becomes a side character thr new main character is as interesting as watching paint dry. i honestly dont know who the target audience is.wouldn't recommend.
