Über diesen Titel
A month has passed since Oberon and Alessa defeated the Expedition forces sent against them by the Lordships. Their power has grown to the extent that the desert can provide. Ever frustrated by the level system of the world, he decides it's time to take a bigger piece of the pie. Marshaling his new forces, he heads into the continent. Mayhem is marching; may the gods have pity on anyone standing in his way.

The change from Eva Kaminsky, who narrated the first two books, to Romy Nordlinger completely killed this audio book for me. And yes i'm absolutly unfair and there is technically nothing wrong with Mrs. Nordlinges speech, no slurred speech for example.
But her style of speech couldn't be more different from Mrs. Kaminsky, even the way she pronounces names kicks me out of the story.
But to set this into some perspective: english is not my native language and a change in dialect hits me rather hard.
If you liked the first two books and if you dont have any issues with the change in narrator, go ahead and buy it. The story is great and you will have a lot of fun with Alessa's and Oberon's shenanigans and general mayhem to the mortal races.
Change of Narrator was a bad idea

Oberon is still the big bad overpowered Guy from the first two books. His goals and values haven't changed much and he keeps wreaking havoc to the "civilzed" world.
If you liked the Story so far, and like me you like the OP MC, you will most likely continue to like it :)
to the bad part:
I have the feeling, that Problems with the powercreep are starting to occur. Because Oberon is overpowered for his level, you need increasingly stronger enemies to challenge him. That might turn out to be a problem in the future, but we will see what is to come.
But the worst part in my Opinion is the voice actress. The whole book was pretty monotone, and i found it hard to distinguish between the characters from the voice alone. The previous voice actress did a much better job there.
Also i found it infuriating, that some Names in the book changed. Pronouncing a name in another way is ok, but the MC is named Oberon, not Obreon. In the whole (nearly) 8h she spelled his name right once. Plus, if i heard it correct, Helana is now named Helena. Sadly the Voice actress diminished my fun listening to the audio book immensly.
tl;dr:
The story continues good, Oberon is OP for his level, but i really hope the next book will have another Voice actress (hopefully Miss Kaminsky again). You might want to listen to the free sample first.
good sequel
