Let me start with this: I‘ve read all her books and loved most. This isn‘t one of them. The story - well, there hardly is any story. Not that I wouldn‘t appreciate hearing about Mount‘s feelings, but not for seven hours and on repeat. It feels like every sentence in this book has been written thrice and I was bored out of my mind.

The usual depth of the characters is missing and it really disappoints me that Kira, the strong independent woman we got to know, just gives it all up for „love“ without looking back.

Also, the voices of the narrators are pretty awful. That fake whiny Italian accent was driving me up the wall.

Surely not every book can be great, but this one I certainly cannot recommend.
