I bought this book after reading the original Shadowfalls series, which I liked very much. However, Shadow Falls: After Dark cannot keep up with it. It starts very slow and although books 2 and 3 are better, it doesn't have the same level of suspense as the books about Kylie. If you want to know what happens to Della, Kylie and Miranda afterwards, this book may be worth hearing but if you look for something as good as the original, I recommend looking somewhere else. (Personally, I liked The choice of magic by Michael G. Manning very much.)
