With
the small town in an uproar, everyone is worried about the whereabouts
of their beloved high school teacher. Everyone except Lila, his wife.
She’s definitely confused about her missing husband but only because she was
the last person to see his body, and now it’s gone.
The narrator's tone of voice is unusual: She sounds like she's always on the verge of tears or has a lump in her throat. It irritated me at first, but once I'd got used to it, I quite enjoyed the performance. It sort of fits the two female main characters.
