A mistery that keeps you hooked all the time with a romance slowly building up between the characters who are trying to solve the case. The romance is sweet and there's very little steam. It is really more about the characters bonding than the physical intimacy (close doors). The mistery case is interesting; never too complicated but also not too obvious. You feel like you can deduct some things, but others are really unexpected. How the relationship between the main characters is going to end is also a mistery. Is it a circumstantial thing that's bonding them or could things last after (if!) they resolve the mistery? I have to admit, that I was really uncertain about how this was going to end up. But it didn't disappoint! Great story :).

Very crazy but still possible love story, with a disappeared person, crazy famous, paps, and villains with their minions, twists, etc.. Exactly the type of story I've been looking for, for a long time. Characters are very dimensional, and love is not toxic. It kinda reminded me of the movie Starstruck but with a mistery twist and for adults. The romantic scenes are sweet and not explicit, which is a big plus for me :) Thank you! Will definitely listen more of this author. PS: for moments, I was a bit confused about the third person narrator, I think I would have preferred it all to be in the first person from the perspective of each main character. Maybe it's just me normally the books I listen to are all in first person. Both performances were on point 👍

Action, romance and comedy

The narrators do an excellent job with this, but the story was only mid for me. If you like contemporary romance, it might be more to your taste. For me, everything was a little too forced because it was a contemporary setting and there's no magic reason for things like their relationship to progress like it did. The mystery was vaguely interesting, but it was really predictable and I was frustrated with the characters not thinking of things sooner. There were some attempts at twists, but YMMV on whether you find them surprising (I didn't). Ultimately, I think I would have preferred this without the romance, actually, because the author had to do a lot of "not like other girls" stuff to make the FMC a believable love interest for the star MMC, which I found off-putting. Also, her librarian persona was really unbelievable for me as someone who is friends with actual dozens of librarians (who spoiler are actually all really unique but somehow nothing like this lady's "librarian quirks").

This was a good enough read from the included catalogue though.
