However... I did not have the patience to finish the story, I got way too annoyed with Carson and Wyatt. They're terribly patronizing and I-know-what-is-best-for-you towards Emma who is a grown up woman, not a little girl . The whole "nobody is allowed to date my sister" spiel from Wyatt when they're all adults is getting soooo old. And Carson is pretending to be in love with her but then doing the same thing to Emma as her brother, like "I have decided we can't be together and we're also not going to talk about that explicitly, I'm just going to be a jerk to you instead". Not to mention he was hiding like 50% of his reasons for being a jerk from Emma, meaning the relationship with his daughter.
I know every story needs a bit of drama, I just really didn't vibe with this particular one.
