Es war das erste englische Hörbuch, dass ich gehört habe und an einigen Stellen bin ich raus geworfen worden, konnte aber dank der leichten Thematik schnell wieder einfinden

What kind of book will you get if you cross Lovestory x Thriller? This book right here! Undying love and a car chase and everything in-between. Just fabulously well written! The story is so interesting it will absorb you and the characters are so well written, you feel like you belong with them.

the protagonist is so annoying, I can't even, I'm at chapter 22 and won't finish this Audiobook. the narrator did a good job though.

It was good escapism. The characters in the book are believable in the world they are supported to be in. It's quite light and fluffy. I do recommend. I liked the reader too.

the idea of the story and the beginning are cute, and there are a few very important mental health problems underneath the surface, but it gets annoying quickly. main male caracter is very bossy in a non positive way and "used to get what i want" and shes like uuuh i like it. even though shes also scared at times... weird. and the narrator is also to aggressive. go listen to julia whelan books, shes awesome at narrating!

… for several reasons.
The story around Gemma starts with her slightly abusive soon to be ex-boyfriend and Gemma visiting a basketball match. Here, Gemma is rescued from a humiliating situation by a stunning stranger. Soon Gemma and the stranger feel drawn to each other - and then it turns out that the stranger is a billionaire.
I’m fine with the start even though it includes too much abusive male behavior the female lead is quite ok with.
What bothers me is that Gemma is soon stuck between a rock (the billionaire) and a hard place (his billionaire cousin) who are both equally abusive, manipulative and misogynistic. - And Gemma can’t let go because she is so hot for Mr. Billionaire. I had to stop listening after the episode about the horse.

I’m sorry to say that I couldn’t finish this audio book…
