There is a fine line between manipulation and mindf* in BDSM. No matter what your logic is, as soon as you force people to choose the path because you closed the door to other path, since that is the path aligned with your logic, you have crossed the line
Manipulation has no place in BDSM. A club that puts ‘10 hours requirement to submit to an experienced Dom to be accepted as a Dom’ can be questionable alone. But to put Dom’s in training in such situation and say, ‘There is no other club in the area, except one questionable club that nobody accepts in BDSM scene since they don’t respect consent’ and tell the Dom in training at the middle of the training to either submit or give up being recognised as a Dom is manipulation.
Especially when you put it under such words as: ‘Don’t say you don’t have a choice. You can choose not to submit. But I have to inform the club that you are not fit to be a Dom’
I’m sorry, but that’s pure manipulation, no matter how you wrap it up.
I dropped listening to the book at that point.
