Her breath caught when she saw him. His dark hair was cut and styled short, but sexy. Long enough she wanted to run her fingers through it, but not long by any means. His face was turned down, focused, yet she could see the chiseled features from the doorway. When he glanced up at her, the look of annoyance in his eyes made her think of the previous night. She knew instantly that he had been the man at the strip club, the man who had held the lollipop for her to suck. She swallowed nervously. If he recognized her, it was all over.
Billy Rainnes is just trying to keep her head above water. Stripping wasn’t what she wanted out of life, but life’s a dick, and so is her boss.
