Natural free spirit Irving Breen can remember being born - the thrill of returning to the land of the living after a long absence - and of cracking the code of life after death. Not bad for a lad with only one A-level in computer science.
Growing up as a cub newspaper reporter, he marries Emily, his angelic dancing partner, whose brother suffers from brain cancer but miraculously recovers in answer to prayer.
