Adavi Bapiraju (1895 - 1952) is a poet, painter, sculptor, novelist, singer, editor, aesthetist, freedom fighter, and scholar extraordinaire. He was the foremost writer of the Romantic movement in Telugu. His prose and poetry took writing in Telugu to new heights.
