During my early twenties as a young and sometimes excruciatingly naïve gal growing up in New York City, life was challenging and rewarding.
While navigating through my personal sea of fear, laughter, and pain, I discovered how living with family, friends, and crazy roommates equipped me with life-changing tools I used towards shaping a successful adult life.
Like many daring apartment dwellers before me, I faced my own flavor of uncertainty and occasional horrors sharing a home with roommates who were less than desirable.
I am grateful to have experienced the individuals who entered my life as roommates, both sane and insane. They helped shape me in ways I could never have imagined.
In order to respect and preserve my crazy roommates’ privacy, their names were cleverly changed. Also, some situations were creatively and humorously embellished for artistic and entertainment purposes. So, sit back, relax, and strip off your straitjacket!
