My Brother the Zombie is an exciting piece of dystopian fiction about the teens Kyle, Ben, and Kyle's girlfriend. Adele's efforts to form the zombie revolution and battle against the aliens who have unwittingly brought along the TBZ Gondii virus, which turns humans who are infected with it into flesh-eating zombies. They're not dead, nor the living dead, but are very much alive and aware of their hideous actions, but they can't resist their hungers.
Just like in the song, Kyle and Adele look for and find love in a hopeless place, a future teeming with zombies and the invading Blaxon forces. Though they came originally on a peaceful mission, humans killed the Blaxon's emissaries when the first people who came into contact with them became zombies. In retaliation, the Blaxons began a vicious and bloody war with humans.
Can Kyle, his brother Ben (the older brother and zombie of the title), and Adele hope to survive when faced with the advanced weapons of the Blaxons?
