Über diesen Titel
It's Darcy and Elizabeth's wedding day, and the journey is just beginning as Jane Austen's beloved Pride and Prejudice characters embark on the greatest adventure of all: marriage and a life together filled with surprising passion, tender self-discovery, and the simple joys of every day.
As their love story unfolds in this most romantic of Jane Austen sequels, Darcy and Elizabeth reveal to each other how their relationship blossomed. From misunderstanding to perfect understanding and harmony, theirs is a marriage filled with romance, sensuality, and the beauty of a deep, abiding love.

It‘s also incredibly funny, even though unintentionally:
Darcy and Elizabeth are eating, and “Eventually, EVEN DARCY’s appetite was quenched”. What, is he some kind of enormous beast?
Elizabeth notices „that his eye colour altered, depending on his mood or what he wore. […] When he was angry, his eyes would darken almost to black.“ Oh, so a magic beast?
„She arched into his flaming body, moaning and whimpering“. Wow! Of course she is whimpering, poor woman, her husband is burning her with his fire-skin!
I hope they will reveal soon what creature Darcy is. Dragon? Balrog?
Apart from that, everything is just too perfect in this book to be interesting.
Example: The wedding day. Darcy does not notice Jane on their wedding day, because he is too much in love with Elizabeth to look at anyone else. Nevertheless, he must have an eye for party planning, because he describes in great detail how everything was perfect. The food was perfect, the church charming, the decor and flowers excellent, the wine perfect, wonderful, … Nothing is said about the people who were presumably at their wedding, but so much more is said about the decor than I had ever wanted to know.
Personally, I think Darcy would have described a few things as “adequate” and some as “surprisingly good”, but mostly been busy trying to save his introvert self from being congratulated by every well-meaning-but-vulgar Meryton inhabitant.
Involuntarily funny, super cheesy
