I didn't know what to expect when I started this book. It was a journey that lifted me up, made me angry and brought me to tears. Beautifully narrated, this book tells us the truth about the Mayflower and the pilgrims, their humble beginnings and the horrible price the disunited native American tribes paid for being naive about their new neighbors.
