I liked this opposites attract romance in the corporate espionage setting; it had a surprising emotional depth. Evie is a lovable character who instantly wins your heart. From the very beginning, she is aware of Robert’s inability to allow for emotional depth and his skillfully manipulative nature. But Robert is a skilled alpha male who deftly tears down her defenses with his charmingly dominant manner..... What he only realizes much later, however, is that Evie is doing the same thing to him.

His loss of control—even though it had serious consequences for Evie—was refreshing.At the end he was an alpha male who ultimately rises above himself—that’s what I really liked about him.

A good corporate espionage romance.
