Thank you for Louise Penny on Audible Sessions!

I'm afraid Sophie sounded as if she'd never read one of the Gamache books., just firing off standard questions and not taking answers as a next step up. "It's not about the crime, it's about relationships" - "yeah, what's going to be next?" But never mind, it was great hearing Louise on Louise! Louise's novels are a deep dive into human relationships, about everyone's dark places, about the morals giding us, about how one person can cope and another can't, how one person will turn against others and another will turn upon him/herself. How People can simply fade by suffering. How the beautiful can be shattered and how something new can arise. I was lucky enough to find her first book just after it was published and I found it so inspiring, not least because of the poetry she draws on. I have been recommending her books ever since!
