Mit der Vorhersehbarkeit vieler Elemente hätte ich leben können, was mir aber wirklich die Stimmung vermiest hat, ist eine vermeintliche Erklärung für die Geschehnisse, die ich so aufgesetzt und absurd fand, dass mich auch die tatsächliche Auflösung nicht über diese Finte hinwegtrösten konnte. Da passiert nun endlich etwas, das man nicht kommen sieht, aber es ist so unglaubwürdig, dass der wohl geplante Schock ausbleibt. Vielleicht wollte der Autor mit der Scheinauflösung von den Problemen der eigentlichen Erkärung ablenken?
Für mich hinterlässt der Roman daher leider einen faden Geschmack. Der Geschichte selbst hätte ich lieber nur 2,5 Sterne gegeben.
