The narration of both the author and Mr Duran are superb. This story approaches a Mexican corrido singer, creating songs for a drug lord embraces the reality of our country, which is the integration of the cartel culture in our music, daily talk and literature. The topic of violence and the overall dominance of organized crime has become an prevalent issue in the minds of the people, Yuri, I think, narrates this in a beautiful manner, analyzing the integration of violence to everything without trivializing it, condemning or redeeming it.
