Rutherford Hall, campagna inglese, anni cinquanta. Manca poco a Natale. The plot is nice, but my God is the narrator irritating. I have heard a lot of Agatha Christies in Italian, but man this particular narrator has the worst interpretation ever. Her rendition of Miss Marple is grating! Every time that "Miss Marple" had to speak, i winced and gritted my teeth against the horribly affected way in which the narrator has chosen to interpret the voice and way of speaking.

She fails over and over again in providing the right tone to the characters. She makes one of the most efficient and resourceful of Christie's heroines sound pathetic and whiny.

I regret this purchase so much. And sadly, i had already purchased another by the same narrator before having started this one.

The narration is abysmal!
