Absolutely Disappointing!!
Being a huge fan of the "Fallen Angels" series I was really looking forward to this last chapter!
How would Jim and Cissy come together at last, how would the good conquer the evil what would happen to Ad and Eddie...
Eric Dove is known to be a good speaker , not as good as Jim Frangione, of course.
(Who could be??) I never understood, why he was replaced.
Dove was not the disappointment, because I knew what to expect of him.
But the storyline..man, so thin, so boring in places!!
The great love story I was so much anticipating, just a bore.
The rest: lots of Divina and her fixation on fancy clothes (yawn..), lots of dust in the purgatory, death and back to life again,
nothing really touching.
Dear J.R. Ward: did you loose your interest in the characters?
Did you just wish to get it over with?
I think Jim and Cissy in the first place, but your readers (listeners) as well would have deserved a lot more engagement on your side.
Can`t recommend this one, sorry folks!
