I loved I Found You! The story hooked me right away and kept me completely invested the whole time. The characters felt real, and I loved how their stories slowly came together. It had just the right amount of mystery, emotion, and suspense. Such a beautifully written and satisfying read. Definitely a 5-star book for me!

You never know what Lisa Jewell aims at or wherethe story leads.
What you do know is that the journey is going to be a great one. She describes in amazing detail, catches all the small big moments, and even though you do have your suspicions, you cannot pin them down.
The narrator is something else, too. She literally lives the story.
This is one of these books you can listen to or read twice or three times for the simple fact of enjoying brilliant literature.

Das Buch ist vielversprechend gestartet und hat mich in der Mitte ziemlich gepackt, jedoch hat es dann gegen Ende an Spannung verloren und das eigentliche Ende finde ich recht unspektakulär und langatmig.. Hatte irgendwie noch auf eine unerwartete Wendung gehofft, die leider nicht kam. Wer Happy Ends mag, wird hier zumindest nicht enttäuscht.

Habe das Hörbuch am Anfang als etwas langatmig empfunden, aber bin froh nicht abgebrochen zu haben. Spannende Story, gut erzählt!
