If you're expecting a fun Teen Wolf Romp, this is not that book. It's about growing up, dealing with traumatic experiences, surviving even when hardly anyone believes you. It's bleak at times, but there is a real powerful undercurrent here. It helps that Hutchinson, as always, writes really relatable characters and refrains from painting in broad strokes. Even the vile characters here have some human qualities. In the end it's enjoyable inspite of the dark Story.
