Almost perfect, bad editor suspected

I enjoyed this story very much, hence the 5 star total rating. It was in fact so good that I chose to ignore the many mistakes the author made - the disjointed americanized idiosyncracies and stark mistakes that made suspension of disbelief near impossible sometimes. For example constant changes in "facts" like the bounty changing between 5k and 50k several times or the year he had to make the farm profitable shifting to about half a year without reason. The rest is so great though that I already bought part 2. But please, for the love of god, get a proper editor to look over these in the future! It is just too good to suffer from mistakes like these. If a good friend did the editing, I don't want to be too harsh, but maybe their calling is elsewhere.
