Both Kyle and Lane find their way back into life after one suffered a terrible loss and the other one overcame a severe illness. While Lane doesn't suffer from body image problems after receiving a heart transplant, she is very sensitive about how people treat her. After loosing her sister, Kyle is hesitant who she brings into her daughters life. The romance that develops over morning coffee is realistically paced, still the story pacing changes about two third through the book. I think it is a good way to keep the romance on track. All in all it is a beautiful romance read.
