Sorry, I won't be reviewing the book itself here, I'm afraid. I liked it alright, BUT, as the title of my "review" implied it, I mostly wanted to draw both the author's and audible's attention to the quality of their editing of this recording : The last sentences of several chapters are cut off.
The e-book version of the novel allowed me not to let myself get overly cross with MLB (or with audible services?), whose voicing of his own body of work I've fairly enjoyed so far, but these here and there missing last one, two, or 3 words, at the end of some of the chapters, can be quite irksome., irritating...
Could this, please, be taken (better) care of?
And, could the four missing recordings (Lightning, Skibird, Nightwatch & Osprey) come soon (preferably B4 'Wedgetail'), or at leat be in some manner announced as to still be coming up, please? And, If, for some reason or another, audible (still/again) doesn't set the books in their usual "pipelines", then perhaps could the approx. release dates be mentioned on MLB's YouTube channel or own Website/Newsletter?
