David R. Hawkins MD PhD
Join Dr. Hawkins in this thought-provoking lecture as he explores various aspects of the ego and how to transcend them. He begins with an in-depth exploration of the belief in causality and how it is imperative to undo this illusion in order to dissolve the ego.
He explains that phenomena is actually emerging within a field of infinite power. Another great barrier is having positionalities and he shows us how to see past the seeming opposites. There is instruction on how to recontextualize our life and our mind so it serves a higher purpose. He also delves into the true nature of thoughts and what to focus on in meditation and contemplation. What is means to surrender to the field is clarified as well.
The way to God is through joy, happiness and the Truth, and not through self-condemnation, resentment and guilt. We can have the courage to tell the truth: that without God's help, it's unlikely that our consciousness will evolve.
This talk covers a wealth of Dr. Hawkins' essential teachings and is a must-have for your collection. It is also an important primer for beginning students.
