The Luke and Luke team holds the promises. Good story and very nice speaker! Keeps the high level of the previous books.

I really enjoyed listening to this whole series. As in the previous books the pacing switches between breathtaking moments and passages where you can lean back and relax a little, which I find very pleasant. Although this seems not to be the last book in this series, the main story-arc from this book comes to a conclusion, so there is no frustrating cliff-hanger, just a few scenes at the end that make you curious for more.
If you liked the previous books, I think you will enjoy this one as well!

Also worth mentioning is the Outtake Bonus at the end. I think Luke Daniels is an amazing voice actor (I especially like Amaranth's voice) and to hear him struggle and laugh about himself was very funny :D

awesome sequel. loved everything about it and can't wait for the next one. both performance and story are really nice.

if I had to give one small criticism than it would be the fact that not all members of the original party are around that often anymore. would love to see and here more of the core group as well.

rarely do I abort a book, but this one I just had to. After half the book, I camt remember what happened and I dont care either. Found myself not really listening while it played. dunno why its so different from the first few. if you liked the first couple of books, maybe skip this one and hope the next is better. last one of the series for me tho, very disappointing.

Ganz ehrlich? Bin am überlegen, die Serie nach diesem Buch für mich zu beenden. Zwar hat man viele Stunden Zeit, jedoch passiert so unglaublich wenig, was die Story wirklich vorwärts treibt. Weder liegt der Schwerpunkt also auf der Geschichte, noch zB auf dem Building-Aspekt des Dorfes. Auch hier passiert wenig. Das Buch hat sich auch insgesamt weg von LitRPG bewegt, es geht ums slashen und hacken von Monstern, Leveln und Fähigkeiten ergeben sich dadurch wie nebensächlich und finden kaum weitere Beachtung. Lirian (oder wie er sich schreibt, ist schliesslich ein Hörbuch), hat immer irgendwelche Ideen die im Nachhinein erklärt werden, ohne jedoch ein Aha-Erlebnis zu bescheren. Irgendwie bin ich auch immer wieder eingeschlafen und musste Teile erneut hören und war letztlich froh, jetzt mit dem Buch fertig zu sein. Der Sprecher ist super, an ihm lags definitiv nicht!

Zusammengefasst:
Mir fehlt das ursprüngliche LitRPG, die stats, das building, Loot und Charakterbau, die Fähigkeiten auf etwas hin zu spezialisieren und Kampfszenen sind in absolutem wirrwar beschrieben, sodass man sowieso nicht mehr folgen kann.
