An Yu erzählt klar und schlicht, kann psychologisch messerscharf urteilen und erzeugt eine Athmosphäre, in der das alltägliche Leben plötzlich voller Rätsel und Geheimnisse ist. Die Beschreibung von Einsamkeit und Gefangensein in Konventionen ist wunderbar gelungen, für mich auch immer hoffnungsvoll, ich habe die Protagonistin sehr gern begleitet.

Ein weiteres sehr schönes Buch mit einer Pianistin im Mittelpunkt ist August Blue von Deborah Levy. Ich bin deshalb bei An Yu gelandet.

Freue mich auf mehr von dieser Autorin!
