Loved the story…

But absolutely hated the male narrator. Didn’t suit the deep and serious storyline nor the MMC, made the kids all sound 5 and the women like ridiculous cartoon characters. Such a shame and ruined half the book for me.
The female narrators was brilliant and the reason I kept going with the audio.

Apart from the audio, this was a beautiful debut novel. I fell in love with the Foresters and am looking forward to Willows book.
