After "I'm thinking of ending Things" expectations were high. Sadly, "Foe" is a big let down. It was pretty clear where this was going from the beginning (the audio book description also has somewhat of a spoiler in it) and the Story Just did Not make Up for the Lack of suspense.

There is hardly any suspense because the twist becomes so painfully obvious after the first quarter of the story. The dialogues sound artificial and forced, the protagonist's internal thoughts are incredibly dull. Bad
