She did it again!
Kel Kade is an amazing storyteller! And I love Nick Podehl's voice. Can't wait for the sequel!

Really good piece of work :)
I started with the Kings dark tiding, and you should NOT listen to this audio book right after because it's totally different.
I waited around 1 year and listen to other fantasy and now while hearing this great story I really like how the author build a constant interesting story line, nice pacing

Nice story but...
I lieked the book and the narration by Nick Podehl is great as always but it didnt grip me as The Kings Dark Tidings books did. Somehow I didnt get as invested in the characters as I did in TKDT characters. The reason ist quite obvious but I cant disclose it without spoiling 😉
I will definitely continue this series but mainly because I hope it will reach the heights of TKDT.
PS: Nick Podehl is the best Narrator I have come across so far and I consume quite a lot audiobooks, this ist not his best performace though.

grows on you like a tree
for me it started not as strong as the other ones from Kel Kade but it definitely grew out of it and became quite the story. can't wait for the next one.
