Herman, Ohshiet, and the gang have made it to Uncle Ray's compound . . . a prepper's dream of high fences, stockpiled food, and enough ammo to arm a small country. For the first time since the System hit, they have a roof over their heads and a plan for survival.

The Phenomenon isn't finished. A monster surge is heading for town, and it will kill everyone left . . . including Herman's dad.
