Die gesamte Reihe ist sehr empfehlenswert. Ich bin sonst eher kritisch, finde hier aber kaum Ansatzpunkte zum jammern, weshalb ich es einfach sein lasse.

Die Charaktere sind gut ausgearbeitet. Besonders gefällt mir, dass hier nicht mit Naivität und Zufall gewonnen wird, sondern mit kühler, strategischer Überlegung, wohldurchdachter Opferbereitschaft und großer Anstrengung nicht von nur einer Person oder eines Volkes, sondern der vieler Menschen unterschiedlicher Herkunft. Es gibt keine grundguten und immer gerechten Menschen, sondern echte Menschen. Menschen, die Fehler machen, falsche Entscheidungen treffen und nicht immer sympathisch sind.

Die Geschichte hatte einen roten Faden und diesem folgend konnte ich keine Widersprüchlichkeiten entdecken,die mich sonst häufig irritieren. Wer besonders humorige Dialoge sucht, wird hier nicht fündig. Die Geschichte ist geprägt von Pflicht- und Verantwortungsgefühl und von großer Ernsthaftigkeit durchdrungen. Das ist überhaupt nichts Schlechtes, unterscheidet diesen Dreiteiler jedoch von anderen.

Mein Fazit: Von der ersten bis zur letzten Minute ein Genuss.

I absolutely love this series. I'm so sad that it is over. All those characters, I feel everyone of them as if they are my own friends. I see every place, as if through their eyes. O is a fantastic story, absolutely fabulous written and spoken and I don not wann to stop listening to it. It is just,..... I cannot describe it, it is the best.
