I had to force myself to continue listening a few times bc of totally stupid twists, which were based on selfish, childish and unreasonable decisions of both of the maincharacter. nice parts within, until another annoying twist drags the story into length

But unerträgliche Sprachspiele Translation: please stop messing with languages! Obviously neither the author nor the speakers knew any German. I‘m not so sure about the French, but I guess it was also just merde google translation. Das hat richtig genervt!

Nice Stanton Closure

I usually like her books but it’s all kind of the same. Poor girl, rich man, he’s her boss… it gets a bit old after four books. If you don’t know her other books it’s fine though. But I didn’t like the male character here. Instead of being a sexy dominant man he’s manipulative, controlling and borderline abusive. Big turn off.
And as a German, them speaking „German“ was just offensive 😅

This audio book was way too long, had f... words in almost every sentence which didn't fit to the otherwise well educated and studied characters. The sex scenes were all similar so I hit fast forward most of the time. I - as a writer myself - think it was not edited professionally or not edited at all, because it could have been a lot shorter. the story itself was good.

Stephen Dexter had a sexy Australian accent but it was boring to listen to him ...

I could not finish this audiobook because the male main character's behavior was cringeworthy. He's not a dominant male, he's got serious personality problems. The female lead's personality is something that a man who can't deal with a real live woman would design.

Obviously in these type of books the storyline is similar each time but the “hot boss” in this particular one is abusive, manipulative and simply toxic. I wasn’t sure about the book pretty much from the first couple of chapters on but when he started to try taking her child away from her I had to stop listening. There is nothing romantic, hot or lovable about this and I would strongly recommend you not wasting your money on this book. 🙏🏼

Was lehrt uns dieser Roman? Männer haben mehr Freiheiten als Frauen. und man muss ihnen einfach alles verzeihen, wenn sie denn nur ach so schön und sexy sind. Nein. Konnte das letztlich nicht bis zum Schluss anhören. Habe mich zu sehr geärgert. Schade um die Zeit.
