The voice acting was excellent throughout. Richard Armitage, in particular, really brings the villain to life with his warm voice. If this story were ever to be adapted for the screen, he would undoubtedly be cast in the principal role. On the internet, I often encounter handsome, charming men who appear to be successful in their careers. I have started to become quite skilled at spotting the scammers among these so-called "dream men". But now I wonder if I could react the same way. What if this supposed dream man were standing right in front of me? What if he were telling me about a connection to someone close to me? I'm really unsure how I would deal with that.
I found the story incredibly exciting and well told, and, of course, excellently read.

I could not stop listening to this audiobook! The story is so gripping and infuriating tbh and I loved following the story through the different povs.

I usually like Lisa Jewell’s books and was waiting for this to come out. But the plot is very transparent and without any surprises. It lost me at some point.
