Many desire a life of intimacy with the Lord where they are constantly attuned to His heart, living in vital union with Him at all times. However, this seems to be more of a theory than the reality for many well meaning believers in Christ. To such, intimacy with the Lord is something to be read about in a book or the story of some specially graced people.
