Tim Winton schreibt in einem unfassbar genialen Stil! Phantasievoll, ohne Tabus, sehr genau und detailliert lässt er seine Figuren lebendig werden. So erlebt der Hörer/Leser auch die beschriebenen Orte als real und begleitet die problembelastete Hauptperson auf Schritt und Tritt. Ihr nimmt man den Liebhaber auch bedingungslos ab. Man hat das Gefühl, mitten in die Handlung eingebunden zu sein!
Mit dem Australier Tim Winton, auch seinem großartigen verfilmen "Breath", eröffnet sich mir eine ganz neue Welt und ich freue mich jetzt schon auf mein nächstes Hörbuch "Cloudstreet". In "Dirt music" ist auch die Sprecherin perfekt ausgewählt! Sie spricht und singt ausgesprochen variabel, ist in den Gesprächen ebenso gut wie in den Erzählpassagen. Ihr ganz leicht wahrnehmbarer australischer Akzent unterstreicht die Authentizität dieses großartigen Romans. Very well done!
