Most of the book was okay with some pretty good parts, but the ending was by far the best and worst at the same time ;-)

Good next entry into the series.
Scope keeps increasing, stakes are rising.

After cradle beeing finished, this and Primal Hunter are at the forefront of modern fantasy (and hopefully will be for at least 10 more entries).
Highly recommended for everybody who likes good entertainment, witty characters and an action filled universe.

Author and Narrator keep delivering.

There is a lot of exploration and foreshadowing going on here and less fights versus extremely strong opponents. Still, I was very entertained and im on the hook for the next one.

Not the cliffhanger you expected, but still an impossible cliffhanger!
Fortunately, the next part comes out in November.

Stay Earth was too short for me.
Also, some implied actions take too long until they occur...
The next book should be all the more interesting for it!

Finally we are back on earth and met up with some old characters. It's like to met and friend again you haven't seen some time. I really like when the author tells a bit from an others persons perspective, but it is sometimes confusing. Maybe when I will hear this book a second time, than I will understand more. All in all, we reached book 10 now in this series and I hope more are coming.

I still remember how sceptical I was in book 1. I listen to many rpg adventures, most of them have a strong start and then loose their quality after 4 to 6 books. Not this one though! I would even claim that this series gets more interesting the more you listen to. Highly reccomend the story. I love the progression pace, it feels perfect. Also I like that the status screen readings are being fewer than in the earlier books.
