The Story

I bought this because I was curious after hearing Luetin's Daemonculaba piece on YouTube, which is based on this book. Turns out it was better than the book itself, as it distilled all the hideous details about how new Iron Warriors are created without all the typical boring Space Marine bolter porn (which sadly makes up around half of the book).

The performance was also a bit uneven in my opinion. While the voices of the Chaos Space Marines and the Unfleshed were amazing, daemons OKeish, the main characters were kinda meh. There was no consistency when it comes to the voices of Uriel and his sergeant - the accents were all over the place. Same with the two Imperial Guardsmen.

The books about the Krieg are much better written and the performance is a level or two above this as well. I'd recommend them any day over this.

So that just happened... The events described are somewhat unpleasant, but it's definitely worth reading. Also, this is what the dark Eldar can point to, saying they aren't that evil in comparison.
