I enjoyed listening to this book. Since its publication other books have appeared, dealing with the same material. Yet, I found the presentation easy to follow, coherent and to the point. Furthermore, I didn’t hear things that sounded quaint or had been superseded by later discoveries. Finally, when it comes to the ethics of these new technologies, I also find Watson is on the right track. Occasionally, I suspect, that from a moral perspective, our time is guilty of great sins, when it comes to genetics - sins of omission. As we are not pushing the envelope, when it comes to genetics, we are hurting future human beings and generations, hindering them from living better, happier and healthier lives.
