Writing a review with no spoilers is quite hard, probably as hard as Albert's fucking electrical post arms holy shiT again
The beginning was great, I loved the group dynamic in all honesty the end of this volume made me kinda forget everything that happened during the beginning.
This one was the shortest so far being under 8 hours and it really felt short because holy SHiT (three times baby) the action was great.
Spoilers:
In my opinion it's almost impossible to WRITE action scenes, not that I've really tried to, but I imagine it being really hard to convey fast flashy moves to someone only looking at words.
But here's the thing a fight doesn't need to be all that flashy. The deduction of martial arts, the calibration of his one strength the complete dissection of Ryuen and all of his Goons ... is absolutely what made this brawl in the end soo fucking cool.
What got me the most was, that the anime completely goes into a different direction, especially during and after the fight. I tried going to bed with this audiobook as like, background sound but I kept on popping off because of all the mindgames..
Who is at fault? What can be used against whom? Who could support ones views? Is expelling Ryuen worth it? And with Ryuen's Goons ... willing to expell themselves if Ryuen expells himself made me completely wake up and write this review even tho it's 0:22 right now and I got work tomorrow.
With the father at play, the listener knowing so many characters... From Ryuen now to the Ayanokoji Group and more and more people knowing what Ayanokoji is capable of. With sooo many puzzle pieces just waiting to fall into place, it just gets me riled up. and oiled up.
The next volume is 7.5 and I'm ready to have my universal Ballcock Shaft Nut bag ripped from my grasp and be sat on an unpowered electrical chair.
