Being kidnapped by aliens is only the start of Jade's problems. Thankfully, her rescuers, an alien race known as the Clecanians, are willing to protect her, but she has to stay on their planet for one year and respect the rules of their culture - including choosing a husband. Jade refuses at first but decides to play along until she can find a way back to Earth.
Theo, a scarred mercenary who prefers a life of solitude, is stunned when Jade selects him as her husband. After years of being passed over, he never imagined he would be chosen and neither did anyone else. Only one explanation makes sense...the curvy enticing female must be a spy, and Theo's determined to break her cover using any means necessary.
As Jade and Theo are forced to spend time together, their chemistry becomes undeniable. But neither can afford to bring love into the equation, especially since Jade seems determined to go home. After all, she can't possibly stay here, right?

The book is a liddle bit harsh , nothing smooth and soft, but violent, dramatical, and the girl goes trough a lot of pain and violence before finding her heaven.
The Story is a commen story : girl gets abducted by aliens to be tested ore sold ...
So far so normal right?
BUT , this story is like many scifi romance, about the black sheep in the race, that no one likes bec hes different it is ugly to others, but not to human girls.
sofar the story seems boring, and like others but something is different.
The Story keeps you on toes, you listen and wanna be part of it, wanna cheer ore curse wanna hold your breath bec its so ..
you simply cant stop listening to it, bec its not all smooth and soft and lovely, its more about all the difficults that both partys go trough and be open for the good things infront of you instead of crying about things you wanna have back ore lost.
there were even some parts where i needet to laugh ore cheered the person on and wanted to help her/ him.

Jade gets abducted by aliens, lizzard like Guys that where ordered to retreat females from all over the galaxie .
When shes send to her destiny in a pot( smal capsule) , and endet in the woods on a strange planet, she can escape the guy that should retrieve her.
she than runs for her life, not knowing what plant ore water she can consume, she starves herself till she sees a city and walks towards it, but its so far away that she thinks she cant made it.
Than she sees one of the smal travel-pots of this planet and aims for there atention before her strengh left her.
She wakes up in a lab, the doc heals her and the people need to research for her language before upgrading there translator , and so she tells them what happens , not knowing that the guy that ordert her is under the elite of them.
She soon is forced into protection of a male, called a married arrangment that last for at least 3 month.
Earth is a low class planet and forbidden to contact, so she never can go back, her only way is , getting married for 3 month max 1 year and find some pirate that can bring her back in secret, ore stay here for good.
everthing is decidet for her, she has no saying in anything, antill the want to be husbands are showed, and she finaly can make her one choice, before someone else will do for her.
She choose the bad guy that no one seems to want, instead of golden tribals he has dark tribals, the typical bad guy that lures females in but never gets married for good.
Until Jade sees him and wants him, first only for the Timeperiod to plan her escape, but soon both cant ignore there feelings for each other.
Everything would be perfect, if there werent the Kidnapper, that wanted Jade back.
