Wow, in the first book Rain had already picked my interest by joining Finn's construction crew despite being from „the other“ Hart family side. E.Davies has crafted his and Colt's story with a magnetic pull. Once you start, you can't stop before the final chapter with a wedding proposal at the waterfront so romantic it lets you and Lucy the seal melt into a puddle. Colt and Rain comlempent each other perfectly and it is honey-sweet to follow their slow and hot burning relationship! Just wonder how long the once town patriarch will spread venom or be chased away. What a nasty, bitter old man!

I thought Finn&Jesse already had been so cute together, but Greg Boudreaux even surpasses his first audiobook narration with bringing Rain&Colt „alive“ in this episode. Rain´s careful hiding, his worries and his deep hurt when he finds out about well kept family betraials tugged at my heart. While the banter and sizzling chemistry between both men made me smile. He and Colt give back as good as they get! And when they are together they are happy, which make me happy, too. The breaking up and later the apology scene put me on such an emotional roller coaster I had to grap on tight to my kleenex box. This is an absolutely spellbinding narration!
