The book has a fast story, gooood characters, excellent spice. I will wait impatiently for the next book!

First book by an incredibly talented narrator turned author. I enjoyed the story on a whole, the action and suspense were gripping. I think there were a few points in the story that could have been done in more depth and detail (especially how one man can eradicate a whole town on his own). The main characters were likable, if a bit too insta-love for my taste. I absolutely loved the first epilogue and meeting Naomi's mother - that meeting alone made me cackle and kick my feet.
For me the story is a 4⭐️ read, but the narration definitely deserves 5⭐️. Connor Crais voice is an experience in itself and he really knows how to work it for the best possible effect.
