Absolutely 10/10, I was so swept away by the story. A brilliant mix of themes, emotions, cultures and such vibrant story telling. SJ Sindu is an incredibly talented writer. It’s heavy as well as heart warming. It’s deep, without being pretentious. It captures the dark and the light beautifully. And it plays with the contrast of a child’s naivety and the darkness of adulthood seeping in.

The performance by Varun Sathi was impeccable. The nuances to his voice, of all the different characters and their accents and dialects. And I’m very picky… I’m blown away.

Thank you for giving us this story! So much to take away from this, no matter where you’re from. This is why we need art!

The story of the boy raised to be a god is an unusual tale. I learned a lot about Hinduism and especially enjoyed Kalkis journey to independence, told in a tender voice.
