Ich bin kein guter Rezessionen-Schreiber. Nachdem noch keine Bewertung vorliegt, wage ich ich trotzdem vor.
Denn endlich mal wieder ein - besser gesagt vier - Hörbücher, die mir rundum Spaß bereitet haben:
Hier passt der der Mix aus nett ausgebauten Charaktere, den humorvollen Dialogen und den guten Krimi-Handlungen.
Dazu als Sprecher R.C. Bray, der wunderbar dazu passt und mir sehr gut gefallen hat.
(Thriller-Fans würde ich das Hörbuch jedoch nicht empfehlen.)

Ein sympathischer PI, der immer in Geldnöten ist; eine aufmüpfige Assistentin, mit welcher sich Black nette Wortgefechte liefert; ein fetter eigenwilliger Kater, Hippie-Eltern, die alle zu Geld machen, was sie in die Hand nehmen und Verbrechen im Show-Business sind die Zutaten dieser vier Bände.
Hoffentlich wird auch der 5. Teil bald als Hörbuch angeboten.

Rundum gut

The intrigue is not buried very deep. The perps are pretty easy to pick out of the other suspects. BUT: the the main characters are so relatable, their banter is so lively and RC Bray’s delivery, as always, is so delightful that I barely minded the lack of a reveal at the end of the each story.

Good fix for Dashiell Hammett fans
